Privacy Policy
Hafizun Kids is a free Quran memorization app for children, including under 13, from TawheedTech. An adult must set up, manage and supervise its use.
What stays on your device
Your child’s nickname, profile, progress and settings are stored on your device. We do not receive them on our servers. Use a nickname rather than a full name.
No accounts, ads, analytics or sale of family data. Device backups may include profiles and progress.
Recording is your choice
Recording is off by default. An adult can enable the microphone for playback and optional Apple on-device voice checks. Recordings and transcripts are not uploaded by the app. Transcripts are not saved; there is no cloud voice-check fallback.
Lesson recordings are deleted on exit or backgrounding; leftovers are cleared at launch. Older saved recordings remain until deleted. Recordings are excluded from backups. Apple may download language files; voice checks need compatible device and language support.
Downloads and reminders
Quran text is included in the app. Audio downloads use AlQuran Cloud / Islamic Network. These providers receive your IP address, requested reciter/ayah and request details—not child profiles or recordings. Their logging and retention follow their own practices, potentially outside your country. Downloaded audio works offline.
Reminders are optional local notifications. An adult can turn off recording, voice checks or reminders in the app and revoke permissions in iOS Settings.
Backups and sharing
Optional family exports contain profiles and progress, encrypted with a separate backup password. We cannot recover that password. Recordings and downloaded audio are excluded; restoring replaces current family data.
Adults choose where to save or share files. Shared garden achievements include the child’s nickname. Check before sharing; the destination’s privacy practices also apply.
Removing your data
Review or remove profiles, reset progress and delete saved recordings in the app. A previous local recovery copy may retain removed information until a later save.
For all local app data, including cached audio, use Delete App in iOS—not Offload App. Delete exported and device backups separately. We cannot access or erase copies held only on your device or shared elsewhere.
This website and support
This site has no added trackers or cookies. GitHub Pages hosts it and may log IP addresses and technical requests. Apple handles its own device services.
If an adult emails us, Google handles the email service. We use the address, message and attachments for support or privacy requests, keeping them only as needed for that purpose or legal requirements. Please don’t send children’s personal details or recordings; we remove unnecessary child information.
